Phase 2: The VLCD Days

Use the bathroom, brush your teeth, weigh in.

Drink Oolong Tea. Wait 15 minutes.

Take 1 tsp. Propepsia. Wait 20 minutes.

Take 20 drops HCG. Wait 20 minutes.

Take your medicines but do not take aspirin or any other supplements or vitamins during this phase, unless required by your licensed medical doctor.

Snack – eat 1 small apple or ½ grapefruit. If you’re still hungry, drink more tea and water.

Lunch – 1 protein, 1 vegetable (only ONE vegetable, no mixing), 1 fruit, one Grissini Breadstick OR Melba toast

Take 20 drops of HCG 30 minutes after lunch (no food or water 30 minutes before or after HCG)

Drink a cup of Oolong Tea

Snack

Before dinner drink a cup of Oolong Tea.

Dinner – 1 protein (different from lunch), 1 vegetable, 1 fruit, 1 breadstick or Melba toast

30 minutes after dinner take 20 drops of HCG. Wait another 30 minutes.

Before bedtime take 1 tsp. of Adreno, Hepato, and Propepsia 30 minutes before or after you take your night time meds.

Continue the 500 calorie diet for 21 to 45 days.

I would recommend stopping after 21 days unless you are feeling FANTASTIC and unless you are feeling FANTASTIC and have more weight to lose.

You must take HCG for a minimum of 23 days to reset your metabolism.

3 days after your last HCG day, begin Phase 3. If you took your last HCG on Monday night, start P3 on Friday.

If your weight stalls for more than 3 days, see Interruptions of Weight Loss, in Dr. Simeon’s Manuscript (back of the “blue” book), page –25- and do an “Apple Day”.

You may only eat those items on the allowed list, do not eat more food than allowed and make sure you are not having anything with oil. This includes hand lotions, hair gels, or anything that might have oil. If it is NOT on the list, it is not allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cheat, you won’t lose the weight. We cannot stress this enough…

IF YOU CHEAT YOU WILL NOT LOSE!!!!

Use the form on page 27 to record your food intake. I would take 3 photocopies of the form to use for the 3 weeks.
If you experience constipation, get the Smooth Move Tea (it works, believe me).

A delightful treat is to purchase Flavored Liquid Stevia (root beer, orange, grape, etc) add 10 drops to 8 oz of mineral water.

If you’re a coffee drinker try the Vanilla Cream Liquid Stevia in your coffee.

***Make-up is limited to face powders, lipstick, eyeliner, some mascara on lash tips only.
I HIGHLY recommend L’Bri products for skin care and body lotion. I have been using L’Bri almost 2 years now. They do have oil-free products. Please contact me if you are interested in ordering L’Bri. Bare Essentials is another great product line.

I use Jason toothpaste, I love it. It takes a while to get used to a non-minty toothpaste, but you will. Kathy (our web designer) uses the Tom’s and she loves it now!

In the recipe book, make the vinaigrette dressing and the chicken bouillon base to keep on hand.

Measure meat/fish raw and after all visible fat has been removed. 100 grams = 3 ½ oz

Avoid swimming and hot tubs due to the chemicals in the water.
